Grant Application Process

The Foundation normally makes grants to those having tax exempt status under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code which are not private foundations within the meaning of Section 107 (c)(1) of the code, or state colleges or universities. Due to its narrow funding focus, the Foundation primarily makes grants by invitation only. However, if your project falls within the guidelines, then submit a letter of inquiry in writing. The initial inquiry should be made at least six months before funding is needed. The proposed project will be reviewed by members of the Foundation's staff and possibly by outside reviewers. Additional information may also be requested by the Foundation. Notification takes about one month.
