MEDICAL QIGONG STUDY AND TREATMENT TRIP TO CHINA BEIJING, DA TONG, AND INNER MONGOLIA (Including a medical mission trip to an orphanage in Da Tong) 09/02/04 to 09/12/04 (10 days)
09/02 Thu Leave for Beijing 09/03 Fri Arrive in Beijing. Welcoming dinner party. Qigong treatment and foot massage. 09/04 Sat Morning Qigong practice, opening ceremonies with Taoist music, Kung Fu, and Qigong demonstrations by the students. Lectures on Qigong, Feng Shui, Therapeutic nutrition. Taoist tea ceremony in the afternoon and Taoist blessing ceremony in the evening. 09/05 Sun Morning Qigong practice, Forbidden City, Tian An Men. In the afternoon, WangFuJing shopping followed by Qigong treatment and foot massage. Taoist family health meditation in the evening. 09/06 Mon Morning Qigong practice, then leave for Da Tong. Visit Yungang Grottoes. Qigong treatment. 09/07 Tue Morning Qigong practice, medical mission to an orphanage in Da Tong. Qigong treatment. 09/08 Wed Morning Qigong practice, visit Hanging Monastery. Leave for Inner Mongolia. Qigong treatment. 09/09 Thu Morning Qigong practice, sightseeing in Inner Mongolia. Qigong treatment. 09/10 Fri Morning Qigong practice, sightseeing in Inner Mongolia. Return to Beijing. Qigong treatment. 09/11 Sat Morning Qigong practice, Great Wall. In the afternoon, Silk market and Friendship store shopping. Qigong treatment . Closing ceremony. 09/12 Sun Morning Qigong practice, Qigong treatment. Return to USA.
- All inclusive (land only) $1400, single supplement $300.
- You are responsible for your own US-Beijing / Beijing-US round trip ticket.
- Additional lectures on Qigong, Tui Na, Bone Setting, Kung Fu, and therapeutic Nutrition may be offered at the end of the trip for those who wish to stay for additional days ($90/day)
- We will be conducting a study of the effects of Qigong treatment on Neurotransmitters in the urine. Those who are interested in participating will be asked to contribute 3 urine specimens at specific times before and after the Qigong treatments.
