General Information
Registration
Please be sure to indicate your preference for the Pre-Symposium Workshop. Space for these sessions is limited and will be assigned strictly on a first come, first served basis. Registration confirmations will be sent within two weeks of receipt. Requests for refunds must be in writing and received at the Academy's office by March 25, 2005. There will be a $50 handling fee assessed for cancellations. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after March 29, 2005. Please use one registration form per applicant.
Tuition
Tuition includes refreshment breaks, lunch on Friday and Sunday and the Friday afternoon Reception. All fees payable in U.S. Dollars.

Hotel Reservations
The 2005 Symposium is being held at the Hilton Atlanta, 255 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. For reservations call 404/659-2000or 800/HILTONS by February 26, 2005 for the AAMA group rate of $159 single/double. When making your room reservation at the Hilton Hotel be sure to use promotion code MDA to get the AAMA group rate. After that date, rooms and rates will be subject to availability.

There is shuttle service from the Atlanta Airport to the Hilton. The Atlanta MARTA system also runs from the airport to Downtown, with a station within two blocks of the Hilton.
Exhibits
Each year time is set aside during the Symposium for attending physicians to meet with suppliers to the medical profession, particularly practicing physician acupuncturists.
Poster Presentations
The Academy provides a Poster Presentation opportunity for members to present interesting clinical cases or clinical research. Poster Presenters are eligible for discounted registration fees. Research Paper Competition
The Academy is sponsoring a Research Paper Competition in conjunction with the Symposium. A session is scheduled for Sunday morning where the winning papers will be announced and where the First Place paper will be presented. The American Academy of Medical Acupuncture
The purpose of AAMA is to integrate the concepts of traditional and modern forms of acupuncture with western medical practice, thereby creating a more comprehensive approach to health care.
